It should be the Carolina Steve Smiths.

That's why he's the MVP. We have no running game, our QB is average, and our defense, while solid, is not quite Tampa's or Chicago's. And yet we're 7-2, and it's Steve Smith who got us there.

2 minute warning, 3rd down. It'd be nice to get a TD before the half.

My fantasy team appreciates it, believe me.

What a bunch of crap. The play by play guy says that Peppers's broken hand hasn't affected his play. Anyone who watches this team can tell that playing with ONE FREAKIN HAND has limited Julius a lot.

I'm going to get some food. Maybe when I get back my team learns how to play offense.

Little chance of that happening with the defense they are going against.

I hate this. I finally get to watch a game and my team runs into a buzz-saw.

I was going to say at least your not a Cub fan, but you are.

Anyways, from a Bears perspective, great half. The biggest suprise has been Kyle Orton. You think that Grossman/Orton talk this week has been beneficial to him? Also only allowing 1 decent drive by Carolina in a half has me exciting.

I expect the Panthers to come out energized this half though. I think 10 points by the Bears in the second half locks this one up though

Bears still need to stretch the field more, they haven't done enough offensively, which hasn't been Orton's fault.

Defensively, keep putting pressure on Delhomme, keeping extra blockers in and only having one WR as well as no running game helps.
