i'd rather have the 6 seed and play New Jersey over having the 5 seed and having to play Cleveland. We were 0-4 against the Cavs this year and 2-1 against the Nets.

so yeah, I really want to get that 6th seed :)

That was a really good game. Too bad the Bulls have no interior defense. When Brendan Haywood is owning the paint, you have a glaring problem that needs addressing this offseason. Paging Ben Wallace....

Are you seriously pointing out weaknesses after a game like that? Enjoy the moment. Stop rooting for that second lottery pick.

I was about 10 rows back from the court behind the Bulls basket in the 4th quarter and was in shock. Gordon couldn't miss a thing! It was absolutely an incredible game.

The Sixers lose to Orlando tonight. The Bulls can clinch a playoff berth by winning any of their final three games or if Philly loses either of their two remaining games :)

Orlando is not officially eliminated yet either, so if Philly loses another game, that won't clinch it officially I don't think.

another game of interest going on right now, Indiana is tied with Charlotte in OT. Please win Charlotte

Bobcats beat the Pacers!!! We are now only a half game behind the Pacers for 7th.

yet another game of note, Hawks leading the Bucks 77-75 in the 3rd. A loss by the Bucks puts us only a half game behind them as well! Go Atlanta!

Sweet. I picked up a couple of tickets to the Bulls first playoff home game this morning. Feeling even better about shelling out the cash now.

Bucks lost too!!! Thanks crappy teams! :)

Bulls now just 1/2 game out of 6th!!!!!

(1 game out of 5th too but I want no part of Cleveland even if LeBron is hobbled)

Orlando is only in in the case of a 3-way tie for the 8 spot between Chicago, Philly, and Orlando. If Philly loses again, there's no way that can happen.

Edit: Actually, I'm wrong. The Bulls just need to win. Orlando is in if Philly goes 1-1, Orlando wins their last 2, and the Bulls lose out.

Also, Milwaukee and Indiana are in with Philly's loss tonight, despite both teams losing to Charlotte and Atlanta, respectively. Wonder if they started celebrating a bit early. Those losses might just earn them first round series' with Miami or Detroit.

Technically true...but the Bulls lose tiebreakers vs. Milwaukee and Indiana. So, they need Washington really to falter before they get a decent shot at the 6 seed.

Washington has the Cavs and Milwaukee at home and Detroit on the road. Pretty tough schedule, especially if LeBron plays tomorrow.

I am really hoping Miami decides to sit Shaq and Wade for most of the game tomorrow.

Very true, Washington has by far the toughest closing schedule. They could lose out on the playoffs altogether, which would be sad. Of course, that requires Philly to play well.

The Bulls couldn't have caught Miami at Miami at a better time, now that they have absolutely nothing to play for and several of their key players could use a rest. Yet to be seen whether the Bulls can beat them, though. Remember, they haven't been able to beat the Heat at all the past couple years, with or without Shaq.

Not that I care much about the NBA, but that charging call in the last 5 seconds of Friday night's game was absolutely atrocious. Hope you Bulls fans realize that.

Sixers fan?

Oh well, I could probably think off the top of my head 30 calls that didn't go the Bulls way this year. And I'm sure I could think of 30 more that did go their way. It all evens out.

Sure, it probably should've been a no-call, which would've run the clock out, since the Bulls got possession.

Howard had 28 and 26 tonight? That's insane.

Yea wow is he a beast. Orlando is looking real good right now, just to bad they started this run so late. They will be a possible contender next year in the east, along with the Bulls hopefully.

Also, I take back what I said 3-4 weeks ago when I said the Bulls season was over, that they were to up and down. They have been playing some good ball lately, and Ben last night was unreal. The future looks bright as long as Pax doesnt mess up.

Why was it atrocious? Because Nocioni didn't flop in the classic charge style? He wasn't completely set, true, but Jeffries was completely out of control and the refs will almost always call it a charge in that case. That call was no worse than any of the 5,000 no-calls for when Noc or Sweets has been clobbered under the basket with no whistle this year.

I'm not certain on this, but I believe today is the Bulls' first appearance on a major network since the 1998 Finals.

No, they were on national TV against the Jordan-lead Wizards and got absolutely humilated.

we did make a comeback but the final was something real bad, like 75-68 or something like that. Both of those teams were absolutely terrible that year and that set us back in the major network thing by 4 years because of that effort alone

please get a win today, Bulls.

Man. Bulls down early but lead 58-53 at the half.

hard trying to watch both games. But a very impressive comeback in the 2nd quarter. Bulls were down by 15 early but Deng was absolutely huge. 24 more minutes.
