See if anyone likes Kirk Hinrich. He's really frustrating.

I know somebody who LOVES Kirk.

Pax.

I like Kirk a lot. I think he can be a franchise point guard. He just needs a bigger 2 guard so he doesn't have to always d the opponents best (and usually biggest) guard. Also a few consistent scoring options because he is ideally scoring option C or D.

Agreed. Nothing's wrong with Kirk, but if the Bulls can get a legit piece of the puzzle for him, I'm with it. I think this team is 2 players away from being legit contenders. Hopefully, they can draft those 2 players this coming year. If not, I wouldn't mind packaging Hinrich and one of the top picks for a difference maker.

It would be nice if they could sign/trade for a veteran difference maker for once.I'm tired of drafting and crossing my fingers

Like the time they traded Brad Miller and Ron Artest for Jalen Rose?

I think Pax is right to hang on to his young talent barring any deals that blow him away.

45-24 now. The Bulls look absolutely unstoppable. Gotta give Skiles credit - this is probably the biggest game of the season so far, because if the Bulls lose they'd be 4 out of the 8 spot, as opposed to 2 out if they win, and his team has shown up to play and then some.

Bulls win 117-84 and are now just 2 back of the 6ers for the 8th spot.

Gordon had 21, Hinrich had 18 and Nocioni and Malik Allen (   ) each had 16 to lead the Bulls. Let the ASB get underway.

Are the any big names on the move that could help the bulls?

Al Harrington is a FA after this season and has indicated he'd play for the Bulls. Paul Pierce and KG are rumored to be on the block, and Ben Wallace is a FA after the season. I'd expect that Harrington would be the one most likely to come here, but I'm not holding my breath for any of them.

That 16-0 run was certainly helpful. I believe they led by as many as 32 at one point.

Yup, they also led by 33, which was the final margin in the game :D:D

Huh. I could've sworn I saw 117-94 when I signal came back. That's what I get for having the picture that small, I guess. Or not really reading previous posts before making my own.

Hinrich's production in the third quarter was nice to see. Someone had to wake the team back up besides Gordon.

The Jazz could be looking to move Boozer. Injuries are a concern and he's expensive, but he's only 24. I'd trade Sweetney and Thomas for him if Utah's looking to cut and run. Unlikely.

If he can stay healthy, he's an excellent player. I was sad to seem him leave Cleveland, although Gooden has done a good job as a replacement.

nice win, but quick question:

did the bulls really spend all that money to re-sign chandler to basically have him be rodman jr.? i mean 11 rebounds is great and all, but if that's all he gives you....

There's no shame in being compared to the greatest rebounder of all time. As long as he keeps his head on straight, I think Tyson has a solid chance of developing into a player of Ben Wallace's caliber. He's been in the league five seasons, but he's only 23. So yeah, the Bulls are spending all that money to have Tyson grab every rebound in sight, block shots, and play solid post defense -- and he's been doing that of late pretty much.

i wish that gordon was 3 inches taller. he'd be the best player in the league. no guard in the league is that strong with that kind of body control.

See Mike Aller's sig for details.

meh, it's hard to say. but i guarantee you that gordon's physically stronger than lebron.

Pound for pound maybe, but LeBron needs to be pretty strong to finish some of the drives he does.*

*I admit complete and utter bias. LeBron should be the MVP, and probably deserves part of North Dakota as tribute to him.

didn't gordon set some kind of bench press record for NBA players? i could be wrong, though.

Gordon's play in the 3rd where he was fouled, twisted his body, threw the ball over his shoulder, and it rolled all the way around the rim and in was one of the most beautiful plays I've seen made by a Bull in the last seven years.

Naturally, Steve Kerr spends half the game talking about how the Bulls should trade him. Utterly ridiculous.
