2 questions:

1) Why did Red refer to Ben's dunk as "the question mark" as it happened?

2) Why did Scott Skiles, at the end of his postgame conference say, 'Tom Dore was terrible" and then leave

The guys on BBB.net seemed to think that Ben might call his dunk the Question Mark, and that the Dore thing was a joke because right after he said that there was laughter.

Who names their dunks anymore? This isn't like wrestling where all finishing moves need some silly name attached to them.

At least Red didn't call it "The Dagger"

Well, I'm glad that Gordon is still a Chicago Bull. Did anyone read Barry Rozner's article in the Herald today? Is he just trying to stir up some crap? What's that all about?

Barry Rozner is a Jay Mariotti wannabe. So yes, he's trying to stir up crap by offering idiotic suggestions.

Really chippy game vs Detroit. Rip Hamilton got ejected for throwing a cheap elbow at Hinrich and then jawing with Skiles. Bunch of cheap shots off the ball, too. And lots of bad officiating.

Pistons lead by 6 late, though.

Ben Gordon may have tanked the Bulls chances with 2 out of control drives late...

Gordon wasn't on last night. Missed a lot of shots.

He shot 40% from the floor last night and he's shooting 42% for the season. Ben wasn't lights-out but he didn't have a bad game, especially considering the defense he was facing.

It was a great game and I was proud of the Bulls last night. They didn't back down and the game was closer than the final score. I used to despise the Pistons more than any team in the NBA. This game brought a lot of that back.

I agree with 1908. This game was night-and-day different from the other two Bulls-Pistons meetings this year, and I think it showed how far the team has come since the beginning of the year. Now the key becomes beating Philly tonight. We'll need all the help we can get with the upcoming tough schedule. In the 10 day period between March 2-11, the Bulls will play 7 games, 3 back-to-backs (all of which will have the 2nd game on the road) and the teams they're facing won't be cupcakes either, with two games with Cleveland, a trip to Detroit and a visit from the Clippers and Nets are in that period. It will be all-important for the Bulls to win the three games that they should in that period, plus steal one that they shouldn't.

The Cavs have a home-and-home with Detroit on Sunday and Monday. :(

Fun Fact: WGN moved from channel 5 to channel 95 in my cable for no apparent reason. That made sense.

Malik Allen may be, if not THE solution at the big man slot, a very serviceable alternative.

Wow. I have no idea what they were trying to do in that posession.

And the Sixers have shot 31 more FTs than the Bulls so far.

Disappointing loss. Why was Gordon on the bench down the stretch (even after Deng had fouled out)?

I guess because he won't bow down to Skiles' powertrip? I hate to go there, but what other explanation works? Gordon's the guy who is capable of bringing us back and winning games late.
