Mizzou up 31-24 to start the 4th.

Damn I knew I should've went to this game.

Down come the goalposts!

41 - 24

Brad Smith with nearly 500 yards of offense! Defense shuts out Nebraska in the second half, Taylor picked twice, and sacked who knows how many times. Mizzou still in the lead in the B12 north, all alone if KU beats Colorado tonight.

Did they come down?! Surely not. If so, I'm gonna have to head downtown right away and find the guy who's sawing them apart!

That was amazing. The PA in 3rd floor in the dorm I'm in got a huge piece thats like over a foot long because it just fell on the ground and he picked it up. That was hands down one of the top 10 greatest experiences in my life. One of the many things I wanted to do here at MU is crossed off the list (however, I'd love to do it many more times, hahah)

NIU beat Kent St 34-3, could've been a much bigger blowout, but our 3rd string back got 250 yards because Wolfe and Harris were out.

Congrats to NU, this season definitely reminds me of the one in 2000. Hopefully, it'll end in a better way though. If they would have beat PSU, there's no doubt in my mind they would be real close to the top 10 in the country.

250 yards out of the third stringer? Yeesh. How long is Wolfe going to be out?

And the end of 2000 shall not be mentioned.

Wolfe had a knee sprain late in the game last week..hes supposed to be out at the least another week, maybe up to 3 or 4 weeks. Luckily, our next few games are against Ball St. and Central Michigan, so we should be ok.

that Bama-Tenn game was a great game I thought. Alabama's defense could take them into a pretty nice BCS game.

UCLA-Oregon State tied up at 7 (each team scored on a drive of about 1 minute long) after few minutes gone by in the first quarter. Spencer Havner just interecepted a Matt Moore pass and returned it to the OSU 20!

This is Matt Moore's comeback to the Rose Bowl after transferring to OSU after fighting with Karl Dorrell over playing time versus Drew Olson.

Where's Ole Miss?

UK is the underdog by 10 1/2 to Ole Miss.

I predict a pep talk from Brooks' daughter will lead UK to cover the spread, yet lose.

Uk only loses by 6 to a very bad Ole Miss squad, a game of "offensive" futility as Ole Miss wins 13-7.

Cowan drops a catchable TD on a double cross and UCLA has to settle for a FG. Now up 10-7 with 9 minutes to go in the first quarter.

Top WR Marcus Everett hasn't played much because he suffered a knee sprain. :([/code]

Auburn down 7-0 to LSU on a long punt return for a TD....Auburn's QB does not look good thus far, and they may be in trouble.

Can someone tell me what happened to ASU? They were just blown out by Stanford.

what happened to Stanford? After losing to UC Davis (Div. 1-AA) they have now won 3 PAC 10 games.

Illinois is getting killed...56-3 at the half.

Umm...so much for Basanez getting his third straight Big Ten offensive player of the week award.

Does ESPN2 have alternate programming in case the refs decide to exercise the slaughter rule?

its pretty pathetic, I thought their decent showing at Cal would've resulted in momentum heading into the Big 10 season. I think that loss a couple of weeks ago to Indiana probably sent this team into a tailspin. That and the lack of talent on the defensive side of the ball and the O-line really hurts as well.

Was at ND game today. Great game. I did get a little worried when the 2nd half began and BYU brought it to within 5. I was told by the guy next to me 9 ND records were broke today. Quinn is really starting to bring some serious Heisman talk. No chance he will win, but just being invited would be nice.

Didn't see the game today but Northwestern  They were cheering at the stadium when they announced the score.

NU is not > ND...but I don't want ND to play them, thats for sure

Bama game sounded real good, as did the Michigan game. I really wish Tennessee would have won. ND's schedule gets weaker every week. Did I miss anything real big today? That is the only bad thing about going to games, missing all the other action.

UCLA to 7-0 with a 51-28 win over Oregon State. Drew Olson set a new UCLA record for TD passes in a game (6), breaking his and Cade McNown's record for 5 in a game. The best part of the game for me was seeing uber-hyped freshman Ben Olson made his UCLA debut.

Up next, Stanford in Santa Clara County.

Oh, and Mo Drew better be getting some love from the Heisman folks.

Bend over, Illinois

Wait till basketball season. :(

When Dee Brown and, um, wait, I know this one....oh well, Dee Brown will single handedly carry the Illini to 5th place in the Big Ten.

I don't think we (and by we, I mean you, me and Truffle) should get involved in any college basketball smack talk considering that Dee Brown could probably singlehandedly beat Penn State.

Auburn doinks the FG in OT, LSU wins 20-17

Auburn's kicker missed 4 field goals including the one in overtime.

I do have one question. Why did so many people make a big deal out of ND being ahead of MSU, but no one cares that Miami is ahead of FSU? It is the exact same scenario.
