So any word on when this game is going to get underway? My MLB EI went straight to the "Rain Delay" screen so I'm out of the loop.

man i despise the cardinals. i go to the university of missouri, so i have to hear all year long how great the cardinals are. well, as dan bernstein so eloquently put it, cardinal fans have a weird rapist passion for their team. i guess as long as the cubs are going to suck this year, might as well take the season series. GO CUBS!

Computer science, although I may go for a minor in business. Wolpers for me, how about you? Are you a freshman too? Your post makes it sounds like you aren't.

 

no ill be a sophomore and i will be living in cramer this year, just easier for me this year to live in a dorm. perhaps this embarrassing season by the cubs could be replaced by a good season by the tigers in football?

 

I'm hoping, can't wait to get my season tickets next month.

 

EDIT: BTW, there's several other students around here. Cubbies75, Strife(although he is a Cards fan :wink:), and Mizzou(surprising I know).

 

good to know that there are several more allies down at school. i knew several cub fans in my dorm from last year, so as usual, cubs fans are everywhere.

I lived in Wolpers for 3 years, cpatt, it's a great dorm. Eva J's is about 30 seconds away and it's the best dining hall on campus (and the takeout is pretty good too, after they close in the evening). Good location on campus and the rooms are pretty big for dorm rooms too.

You look at the Cardinals lineup and you think "Okay, Pujols and Edmonds, but what else?" Maybe Grudz, but after that there's just no one there who scares you, yet they keep winning and winning.

Why does my browser close down when I open up threads on these boards sometimes? It was bad enough when it was threads started by other people, but its doing this to me now with the last 3 threads I started! (2 in rants and 1 in bball discussions)

walker is a great interview! he was pissed for being taken out of his card game but he was really pissed he wasn't in the line up. he basically said when you look at the lineup and you are a sub, it makes you wonder if you even want to play that day.

he also ripped management very subtlely. it was great. he said when you hear rumors about top tier players(mentioned shef and soriano) coming over in trade you get a jolt of energy but when you don't do anything it realy brings you down! he then said we didn't do anything this year and it was a let down.
