It's funny watching people just joining the thread, realizing what the lineup is, and going completely insane.

 

I'm just glad the game is on CSN so I can't watch it.

 

My MVP 2005 Cubs are much to better to watch anyway.

 

I find my MVP Cubs depressing. They're quite good, you see, at winning games, and scoring runs and that. (Although, appropriately, a lot come from HRs....)

2 questions to ponder:

 

1. do you think the cubs will get a "real" right handed bat off the bench? we used to be really right handed now we are lefthanded. we have burnitz,lawton,holla,grieve,cpatt in the outfield. it certainly would be nice to not have to use blanco as your only right handed bat...i do not count macias or perez.

2. do you think that dusty really feels this is good lineup?

Well just turned on sportsline and saw the lineup and immediately began to weep-And then, a glimmer of hope................only 6 months until spring training!.........ok, now I weep more- sorry mods but Dusty is a big fat stupid poop head that should be dragged by his lips to 14th street for a all night game of "ankle grabbing" for putting this lineup on the field-What a tool.
