i'm guessing dusty knows walker is hitting .377 with a .415 obp vs lefties, obviously that's why we go with perez. we don't have much to play for but this lineup makes no sense. why waste playing lee and aram if you are tanking it. at least it would do some good to rest them!

 

macias has 3 walks this year, perez has 11(in 400 at bats) impossible!

man i despise the cardinals. i go to the university of missouri, so i have to hear all year long how great the cardinals are. well, as dan bernstein so eloquently put it, cardinal fans have a weird rapist passion for their team. i guess as long as the cubs are going to suck this year, might as well take the season series. CSN should start the broadcast by showing highlights from the September series against the Cards in 2003. They may have every other big moment in this rivalry, but they'll never have that series and the Sandberg game.

why start disciplining now? how come no one sat when the couldn't cover first or barrett on his bonehead little league play? hell alouu and sammy did this for 3 years! not to mention all the baserunning crap...

no ill be a sophomore and i will be living in cramer this year, just easier for me this year to live in a dorm. perhaps this embarrassing season by the cubs could be replaced by a good season by the tigers in football?

Dusty is just making the pretense of trying to do his job at this point. I've seen crap like what Lawton did 100 times this season go unpunished.
