The Cubs and Phillies face off in the pivital rubber game of this three game set. Hopefully, the woeful offense can finally wake up against Myers. Amazingly, despite being in homerun friendly Citizens Bank and featureing two teams that hit for power, no homers have been launched.

The Cubs beat Myers earlier this season 2-1 on a Z complete game. Prior almost beat the Phillies, but Hawkins blew it.

We better freaking win this game.

We better start winning them in bunches or this playoff chance is over via Houston isn't LOSING.

With this (what will be the) lineup? Ha. Good luck with that.

If Derrek can play today, it'll be a miracle. (Didn't see game, just the very horrible ending, but some said that Derrek's shoulder appears to be giving him problems again, like just before the AS break). Hairston is back in Chicago getting his elbow checked out. Oh, and Myers is a RHer, so that means Burnitz between DLee and ARam.

Here's an after thought..... The CUBS offense has been almost non-existant over the last 2 weeks. If Hollywood made a movie about 'em, they'd call it, "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly". See for yourself.....

Here's an after thought..... The CUBS offense has been almost non-existant over the last 2 weeks. If Hollywood made a movie about 'em, they'd call it, "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly". See for yourself.....

Yes it is pretty sad when Blanco is leading every offensive category. Small sample size or not...

Quickest way to forget about last night= win today. 2 of 3 on the road against a good team is good. We could have just as easily won yesterday and lost Tuesday, so let's win the series, hope AZ doesn't get swept at home, and go into NY reloaded....

Amazingly, despite being in homerun friendly Citizens Bank and featureing two teams that hit for power, no homers have been launched.

I thought the Phillies' new stadium was pitcher friendly. Am I wrong?

You are. It's almost as homer-friendly as Great American or Coors

Well boys and girls..............after that performance last night and considering we have our ace on the mound and it is against another team chasing the wildcard AND the ASTROS never lose..............

I WOULD CONSIDER THIS AS CLOSE TO A MUST WIN AS THERE IS!!!

Also, we will know alot about this team if they come out and roll over after last night...it will be interesting

And, my bet is on a LF-Holly, CF Burnie and RF Lawton outfield even though I would rather see murton :(

Well, I was wrong, but honestly I think I would have liked that BAD line-up better than this BADDER line-up!

Lawton

Walker

Lee

Burnitz

Ramierez

Perez

Macias

Blanco

Prior

Ya--I am sure that ARAM will get many pitches to see!! Also, I think Prior should hit 6th in thios line-up!

Day game after a night game, Lee was in visible pain last night, he's not swinging real well, and Dusty still won't sit him? Yeesh. I don't care about his lifetime stats against him. The guy needs a break. Edited by Jon

can Murton play 1B? If so, i really would wish Dusty would give DLee the day off because thats the only way IMO that were going to see Murton play unless hes a PH :x
