Considering that Murton is being passed up in favor of Macias, I can't see him playing much at all if Corey is brought back, which is supposed to happen soon. Murton needs to go.

Day game after a night game, Lee was in visible pain last night, he's not swinging real well, and Dusty still won't sit him? Yeesh.

 

can Murton play 1B? If so, i really would wish Dusty would give DLee the day off because thats the only way IMO that were going to see Murton play unless hes a PH :x

 

You'd be more likely to see Walker at 1B, Macias at 2B and Hollandsworthless in LF

Offensively Corey is a terrible option now. I don't know why he's being brought back. Not only can he not hit, but he'll create a logjam in the OF that will preclude Murton from getting more than a handful of oppportunities.

I think that actually they are about even right now, but I'd rather have Patterson's defense and pseudo-power threat.

 

That said, Macias hasn't been awful lately. I'll bet he goes 1-3 today.

Yeah, and at least half of the runs will come from that fearsome 6-9 of Neifi, Macias, Blanco, Prior. Prior being the most feared hitter in that group. :twisted:

Disagree. Unlike Macias, pitchers have to respect Corey's power so he's more of a threat.

If Derrek can play today, it'll be a miracle. (Didn't see game, just the very horrible ending, but some said that Derrek's shoulder appears to be giving him problems again, like just before the AS break). Hairston is back in Chicago getting his elbow checked out. Oh, and Myers is a RHer, so that means Burnitz between DLee and ARam.

Not that I'm happy about it, in the least bit!, but I frickin nailed it - except for the ARam/Burnitz switch. I got Dusty figured out. It took no effort at all to come up with that lineup. Actually, I can't BELIEVE he did the right thing and put Ramirez behind Lee.
