what is the situation with him, and what are the chances he will return to the cubs after this season?

the cubs will sign sisco when he's 38 and washed up to a really stupid 2 year contract

Yes, since the Cubs did it 10 years ago, they must still do it today. Jim Hendry has clearly shown that he has a history of signing washed up bums to big contracts.

Oh and the training staff is always wrong about when guys will be back.

And Chris Speier needs to stop getting guys thrown out at home. And why is Blanco's first name Gabor?

And Matt Murton should stop peeing on his hands. Otherwise URINE trouble!!!! LOLMOAWMROIAJROI!!!!!

Well, at least Stephen Randolf has been excellent for the Cubs......oh wait

Or how Carlos Vasquez is tearing is way through the minors........nevermind

But John Koronka has made it all worthwhile.....no?

Sorry, but the Cubs made a big mistake with this one.

As others have pointed out in the past, the pitcher Sisco is is not necessarily the one he'd be if he were still in the Cubs system. From what I have heard, he was nearing 300 lbs. and carrying quite an attitude last year. I'm sure being exposed and picked up worked to motivate him, which likely would not have happened if he stayed with us. That being said, it was still a bad move to keep some of the guys on the 40 man.

True or not, let's decide on that as NSBB's official stance on Andy Sisco. We'll all feel a whole lot better.

FWIW, Sisco is also most certainly not the next Randy Johnson like alot of people were making him out to be. I saw him pitching against the white sox in their recent series, and he didn't top 91 and was working consistently at 89.

sure it would be nice to have him, but this most certainly is not the next Johann Santana.

Wow that sucks. 89. So is his 'hard' slider 81. oohhh

I predict Rich Hill will have a longer and more accomplished career as a starter than Andy Sisco. The Royals have greatly hindered his develpment as a starter.

As far as the Cub's organization is concerned,

Sisco is spilled milk. It has been wiped up as much as can be, let's move on.

There's nothin' we can do about it now.
