what is that pitch that morris keeps throwing? 76 mph, breaks down and away from lefties, occasionally down and in?

 

looks like a weird really soft 2 seamer

 

or a scuffball

Like it or not, mass consciousness as been shown, perhaps proven, to affect the outcome of events.

 

That's a dubious statement ... but I'll grant you that the fans' attitude/atmosphere at Wrigley had a big hand in dealing us the events of Game 6.

You would be correct. I should know. I was there.

 

The studies that have shown that mass consciousness can affect the outcome of events are well-documented. It was something like a group of patients at a hospital were prayed for and group wasn't. The results were surprising, IIRC.
