Anyone else able to count the stiches on that blazing 84 mph fastball?

Jerome is gassed.

And has been since the 2nd inning. It's a miracle that he's only given up 2 earned.

Turning the game off, cya guys later. I refuse to invest anymore time into this steaming pile of bench players.

You are aware that the game is still tied, right?

Like it or not, mass consciousness as been shown, perhaps proven, to affect the outcome of events.

That's a dubious statement ... but I'll grant you that the fans' attitude/atmosphere at Wrigley had a big hand in dealing us the events of Game 6.

You would be correct. I should know. I was there.

The studies that have shown that mass consciousness can affect the outcome of events are well-documented. It was something like a group of patients at a hospital were prayed for and group wasn't. The results were surprising, IIRC.

Wasn't there another study recently done on patients who were prayed for, meditated for, some combination of the two, or neither that concluded prayer and meditation did nothing for them?

I can't imagine that anyone actually believes that mass conciousness has an effect on something like the outcome of a baseball game, that's just ridiculous.

Mitre almost looked like he wanted to punch Dempster when he was talking about the squeeze bunt last night. His jaw was clenched up big time. :D

Buck, you are an idiot. Do you realize they are making fun of you?

What did he say this time?

They mic'd Dempster, and Demp was doing PBP for the eckstein AB in this high pitched voice. So after a couple pitches of "Dempster does my job a lot better than I do his", Buck calls the last pitch with that ridiculous voice.

They did a "Sounds of the Game" with Ryan Dempster in the bullpen going into game commentator mode with a really high and nasal voice talking about David Eckstein EXACTLY how Joe Buck would talk about him.

Buck got really teed off and tried to mimic that voice for some weird reason and ended up sounding like a massive fool.

Thanks for your 2 cents. When you educate yourself, the ridiculous can transform into the sublime.

You are correct, the study he is referencing was very flawed.

Interesting. I'd like to learn more. Do you have a link?

LMAO

Now their trying to play it off like Demp is just a comedian and not picking on them.
