why didn't burnitz come up throwing. a nice throw easy nails cota at 3rd. oh well.

 

 

THe runner bluffed. He made it look like he was gonna stop at second, and then he went to third, hense the delay.

Cubs formula is easy:

 

If opposing pitcher is a veteran (preferably with HOF credentials) the Cubs will put 15 runs on the board

 

If opposing pitcher is a rookie (preferably with 5 or fewer major leagu starts) they Cubs will get 1 hit

The Cubs do well against guys like Willis, Clemens, etc. who you think would be tough, but can't hit youg guys (like most of Milwaukee's staff)

yeah freaking duke will get hit around, if not him we will get to their bullpen.
