Hmm your right. Other then Sept 24 vs. Houston (which I guess was done so it could be easily converted to a Fox game if need be). Strange I never noticed that.

Hey look, I get to watch Maddux pitch... again. I swear, I NEVER get to see Prior or Wood pitch.

Hey. Mizzou..... you could do worse !! I mean, think of it this way.... you're not having to watch Leicester, Dempster, Rusch, Mitre, or Koronka start, right ??

Yeah, you're right. A little variety is good though.

Yeah, I've seen such Cubs legends as Jim Bullinger, Jeremi Gonzalez and Anthony Young pitch live! Maddux is a HOF'er!

I've seen Julian Tavarez, Mark Prior, and Kerry Wood. Next I get to see Maddux. I wish I could see Zambrano pitch sometime.

CUBS are 1-0 when they've won their previous 5 games

Wow. You never cease to amaze me Fred.

Ya know, sometimes I even surprise myself !

mhuber92211 asked me if I could find a way to track such things..... and by golly, I figured it out.

Ahem...I believe that was me 8)

But anyway...have you come up with something terms of strength of the streak, or is it just the Cubs chances after a win or after a loss?

I saw Zambrano on April 20th in St. Louis. I had seats were right next to the bullpen and as Big Z was out there warming up I said "Hey Z, shut these b****es down." He looked up at me and gave that trademark smirk.

When does His Majesty the Rt. Hon. present his lineup to the masses.

To be held up for instant ridicule and second guessing from the aforementioned mob, of course.

Sherwood.... yes, indeed that was you. Forgive me for my "senior moment" there.

not sure how you would define the strength of a streak, I'm just taking the CUBS' W/L record after a win, after 2 wins, after 3 wins...... and coversely after a loss, 2 losses...... etc, etc.

We are the suckiest team ever.

Although you may be trying to be negative, this is probably true. We could be the worst baseball team ever.

That's really overly harsh. My vote for worst ball team of all times goes to the Phildelphia Fultilities......

Why is Dusty benching Neifi while he is hot? Lets hope that Maddux has his A game.

Posted
wow, Murton and Cedeno BOTH starting =D>

I'm suprised Macias isn't starting. Seems like Dusty clears the bench whenever Maddux is pitching.

Like against Milwaukee instead of trying to keep the wheels moving right before we lost 8 in a row. That being said Murton and Cedeno should be the regulars.

Awesome! It was actually a lot easier than I thought I guess, that's exactly what I was looking for. Man...we sure seem to be a streaky/momentum team. One more favor...could you also add in the overall win % after a win and after a loss? Just by looking at this it seems like it's an extreme difference. Thanks a lot!

I hope Ronny can get it together but I'm not optimistic. He's sat too long and has to be very rusty by now. The time to use him was immediately after his callup. It may be too late now.

I didn't know Boston had Jeremi Gonzalez. I didn't even think he was playing.

Yeah, he hasn't seen much action this year. I have no idea if that's due to injuries or not......
