This is why it's too bad that relievers don't hit because there should be some repercussions for that. It's blatantly obvious that they wanted to rattle the rookie.

It hit him partially in the back of the head (and the helmet). He grabbed his head as he was going down. They ran him through a battery of tests to make sure he was still coherent then took him off. Big Z is pinch running. LOL
