Intentionally walking Lee to get to Macias with first base open. A drunken little league coach could have called that.

 

That worked out well.

Greenberg, pinch hitting for Ohman, hit by pitch. Zambrano pinch running

Hairston struck out swinging

Walker doubled to left center field, Zambrano scored

Lee walked (intentionally)

Mecir in to pitch for Florida

Macias doubled down the left field line, Walker scored, Lee to third

Barrett singled to center field, Lee & Macias scored

Burnitz struck out (called)

Macias's average is up to .278. His OBP is probably still sub .300 but that's still a marked improvement over the Lenny Harris days.

Looked like Novoa was getting ready to come in instead of Dempster... I understand protecting Ryan's arm but he better be ready to jump in there if Novoa has any problems.
