Great game by Kerry, especially considering he had a small zone to work with and was robbed of a K on Connine.

Are they taking him out?

Great job Kerry! He leaves with the chance to win. :D

They better not blow this with the tying run at the plate.

I guess that answers my question.

Do you have a stat that would explain how streaky the Cubs are? Example: If the Cubs lost the day before, there is a 75% chance they will lose again today, etc.? It sure seems like we never win/lose/win/lose...it's always lose/lose/lose/lose/lose/win/win/win/win etc.

That idea has some real merit. I gotta think about that one the next time I can't sleep !!

ohman?

did wood spontaneously combust?

Nah, but he wasn't following through on his pitches to Pierre all that well. And Ohman vs. Delgado is a good matchup.

Fred, do u have stats on the Cubs' record when they wear their different uniforms?

Speaking of this, does anyone really dislike the blue tops, whether it's home or away. I hate them!

As I've stated before, I prefer the home whites and road grays. I can live with the blue tops as an alternate jersey on the road, but I don't think they should ever be worn at home.

It seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to find out. You could just take the result after a loss, and the result after a win...and then you've just have 2 different winning percentages, right?

I agree.

The only thing I'd change is that I'd bring back pull-over style jerseys . . . . baby blues for alternates. . . . . 80s all the way, baby!

I don't know. I'm just not a fan of them, especially at home. I would like a return of the Cuba script unis of the late 90's.
