Well whether you agree with the method or not, we got our runs and now hopefully can ride Kerry to the win.

He should be able to get us to the 9th.

Milwaukee leads Atlanta, so maybe we gain a game back in the WC race tonight.

That should have happened when we were IN ATLANTA

Hey now. Don't be getting too greedy.

oh crap. macias on deck.

At least have Ramirez go out to the on-deck circle. Even if he's vomiting on the field or unable to walk, he's still more intimidating than Macias. You want Lee to get something to hit, right?

Sigh. Ramirez is hurt again. I hope it's nothing more than a sore toe from that foul ball earlier today.

Must be a groin issue. I saw him wince on his way back from running/hjogging to first... Lets see what they say.

Edit: or its a foot problem. lol

Go CUBS !!

The stat I would really be interested in is the record of the Cubs when the opposing pitcher has a quality start.

I say Baker. GM's dont have time to make up lineups nor would they. That's the manager's job.

and the Cards lost to SF, and the Yankees lost, and the O's won... this could be a good day...

Plus the Nationals lost. I think they're going to fall off fast and the Braves will take the East again.

Then it's up to us to catch the Marlins and Nationals/Phillies/Mets for the Wild Card. Houston won't hang.

I agree with everything but about Houston. I think they will again make the big move and acquire Dunn.

Houston won't hang.

Everyone said the same thing last year.

Last year they had Carlos Beltran and Jeff Bagwell.
