I don't see these last 2 games being played with the hurricane coming. At least we'll go into the All-Star break on a good note and D Lee will get some more time to rest that shoulder if the last 2 games are rained out.

Hey, wadduya know. Rookies can do stuff.

But, the negativity works. So, Cubs still suck.

Maybe next time the tv info could at least happen.

I think I have this right - Murton is 1 for 4 with a double against Olsen. Greenberg didn't start either game against Olsen.

There's a 100% chance of rain (up to 2 inches) in Miami today. There's an 80% chance of rain tommorow (up to 1 inch).

I really doubt they get either of these games in.

So Fred or anyone else, Where can one find good comparison stats? I am looking for Rusch's stats as a starter vs reliever. Thanks!

The middle line (07 May through 23 June) covers Rusch's starts. The other 2 lines are his relief appearances, before and since.

Rusch IP H R ER BB K HR PC BB/9 K/9 HR/9 WHIP ERA

So basically Rusch is awesome wherever he pitches, the last three innings notwithstanding (although with way too many walks in an admittedly small sample on the relief side).

Er, I would disagree that Rusch is "awesome". That 1.83 WHIP doesn't look very good in april.

But besides that, THANK YOU Fred. You are a gentleman and a scholar!

The Cubs and Marlins only share one off day the rest of the year - September 19th. Cubs would be between a StL homestand and a Brewers road series. The Marlins come to Wrigley again in August, but I'm not sure they're up for yet another road "home" game or two.

And the starting pitchers. Some of us DO care. Nothing personal roast, but if you're not going to put the necessary info in the game thread, then let someone else start it.
