It seems like Barrett has been working much deeper into the count ever since he DHed.

He does seem to be taking more pitches.... but he really isn't walking any more. Kind of strange.

I think I have this right - Murton is 1 for 4 with a double against Olsen. Greenberg didn't start either game against Olsen.

This season, Murton's 0/5 with 1 K against Olsen.

Greenberg has yet to face Olsen this season.

Where'd you get your numbers?

Ohhh, another O_O-Raisin Memory Showdown...

Can't wait to see who's right!

Len just said 0-5. I believe Len.

on the first pitch of the game, the ump established that he is going to give this rookie the low strike

on the 0-1 to Lee, the ump established that he is going to give him the inside corner to righties

on the 0-1 to Aram, the ump established that he is going to give him the high strike

and on the third strike to Aram, the ump established that he is going to give him the outside strike to righties.

Sounds like Hollandsworth should be put back in at 1B. At least Lee would get another day of rest on the shoulder. :?

I still want Macias to rot on the bench, though.

The bad luck continues for Neifi.

At least he made him throw 10 pitches....that is much preferred to the typical 1-2 pitch Cubs at bat.

After a quick hole Neifi does work the count to 10 pitches before getting out.

Neifi's now .121 for July

Bad luck? Nah, I'd say, reality bites Neifi in the butt again.

"Bad luck" is the new running joke. Baker said that Neifi's been scorching the ball and just been unlucky. there's a thread on it in Baseball Discussions.
