The ball was ticketed for center but the pitcher deflected it and slowed it down enough for the SS to get the out.

 

What's the book on murton? Does he have speed? Is he slow as molasses?

He has very good speed. He's worked with Vince Coleman and his base stealing is a valuable asset.
