"Bad luck" is the new running joke. Baker said that Neifi's been scorching the ball and just been unlucky. there's a thread on it in Baseball Discussions.

Aha. Well, unlike some of you all, I don't have the time to be reading every post. ;) That's and the fact that I do like to run my mouth off from time to time are the primary reasons I'm not a mod. (j/k) ;)

What's your Morgan quote on your sig in reference to? It sounds stupid on it's own, but I'm curious who he was talking about.

Kerry's only used 24 pitches through 2 innings. Maybe he'll go 6 or dare I say 7????

(shhh.)

Really, Gameday needs a picture of Matt. At least they have a Cub logo today.

Wow, Gameday said he grounded out yet showed the ball in Centerfield.

Why on earth would Hairston dive in head first on an play that he was easily going to beat out?

Nice wheels, Hairston. Please don't do headfirst slides, though, ok? You're the only worthwhile leadoff man we have.

The ball was ticketed for center but the pitcher deflected it and slowed it down enough for the SS to get the out.

The Cubs really need to start scoring next time up. I hate to see good Wood performances wasted by poor to nil run support.

What's the book on murton? Does he have speed? Is he slow as molasses?
