Novoa has a good ERA, but he lets in alot of inherited runners, IIRC. Like Mark Guthrie a few years back.

You can clearly see in the replay that Barrett setup up and in. Novoa just didn't hit his spot.

He was calling for the ball way up and in. Novoa threw it right down the middle.

Inside and about at head level. The pitch was right over the middle of the plate. He missed by a ton.
