Bears week 8: @ Seattle MNF on ESPN

[Tryptamine]

Odunze let up on his route

[chibears55]

That sucked

[MushroomTaco]

It was probably an overthrow but Rome slowed up. Need a repeat of the 1st drive to start the 3rd.

Positives: Caleb is on pace for 330 passing yards against one of the league's elite defenses. Jeffrey SImmons is a monsters and he seems to be having an effect on the run game.

Negatives: 2.9YPC is not acceptable. The CBs are straight up awful. Muhammad cannot come back soon enough and they need to pick up a CB before the deadline.

No Kmet or Monangai has weakened the rush attack.

I still think Roschon has looked better than Swift, both on the run and the pass.

a healthy Caleb with normal mobility picks us up a cheap first down per half too

Yeah, they absolutely have to.  They can't Hoyer this one and follow a good move by refusing to make the necessary next move.

Especially that. I hope the bye week speeds up his recovery.

[Irrelevant Dude]

The throws are there.  Seattle defense is doing a good job defending them.

[chibears55]

Not a good start here, think theyre gonna need 2 TD this half to win this

[SpongeWorthy]

ugh

[Geographyhater8888]

Defense needs a takeaway.

[SpongeWorthy]

Yes more of that when Simmons eats up a double team

[Rex Buckingham]

Welcome back Tez

[squally1313]

Darnold isn't good, but the defense consistently getting off the field feels very novel for a Bears defense. They've seemingly alternated between Bad and Turnover Specialists for like 20 years.

[We Got The Whole 9]

Great 3 and out

[Irrelevant Dude]

Nice play Sweat.

But please don't celebrate by head butting our new star acquisition.

I know that's what football players do, but don't do that.

[chibears55]

Where's Austin Booker this game, haven't noticed him

[chibears55]

Need a score this drive

They badly need a TD to flip the momentum firmly back on their side

[Soul]

Offense needs to get going again.

[Rex Buckingham]

Good showing for Rome

First 200 yard passer versus Seattle since the NFC championship.
