Cabrera sighting today...

The Cubs are activating Edward Cabrera and adding him to their bullpen ahead of today’s game against the Pirates at Wrigley Field. In the corresponding roster move, Trent Thornton was placed on the injured list with left ankle soreness.

It's a mutual option, and Kelly won't accept it.  If the Cubs want to keep him, they'd need to give him a new contract.  I don't think they will do that, but who knows?

A 2 run lead this late in the game is concerning. Pete is swinging at horsefeathers a lot lately. It should’ve been a 3-0 count.
