Counsell has to be the most stubborn manager I’ve ever seen. You could see Boyd didn’t have anything early on and then he lets Baez face Boyd for a third time. Then still doesn’t pull him after the third home run.

It’s isn’t even that . You could tell He was seen it real big againts him . Comfortable takes all the way . Can’t be making these horsefeathers mistakes . These games are too important

They would not just walk Baez. That is silly. But Boyd should have been taken out of the game. How do you want him with a guy on first already? He isn’t Bonds in his steroid prime. Kid had a great first day.

The boyd stuff sucks but I’d like to see some offense the rest of the game. 2 swings have been our entire offense the last 3 games

Yeah walking him is absurd . This kid has 2 big league at bats . Thornton throws groundballs and is a righty . He should have been in .

Yeah but it’s really horsefeathers tough to score 8 runs . Deficit should not be this big . Counsell has had a generally good year all things considered , but he horsefeathered off today
