The Marlins are far from some model organization, but there has to be some reason why he hasn't been called up all year. Their fifth starter is a 28 year old with a K/9 in the 5s.

Again. I think the Cubs just told you today he's not a catcher. Not to them. Not anymore. 

A DH who can hit like Mo isn't very rare.

I read something saying that he was very resistant to some changes the Marlins were trying to make in his mechanics.

To be honest with you, I don't know why they haven't given him a look, either. The under the hood look at Triple-A isn't incredibly ugly. But I also wonder if they just...don't know what to do with him. 

Bendix is a former Rays guy and the Rays were always "velo-velo-velo" and Garrett is very much...not that.

Since the calendar flipped to May Soriano has a 4.6 ERA and 4.3 FIP. That first month is carrying so much water for him.

They got 2 guys as good or better than Boyd and a RP with upside as high or higher than anyone in their pen. I mean which starter, other than Skubal, was clearly better than either of Gausman/Holmes?
