Nah his hard hit and barrel rates are perfectly average.  He's just turned 27 and was a top prospect.  Not at all dissimilar story to Ben Brown.

Morejon is my number 1 on my wishlist right now, but I'm concerned Preller won't sell because the Padres are currently taking advantage of a weak schedule

So, just reading the tea leaves, but I feel like the Cubs are really really high on Ayers to the point where it's like Ayers and Hartshorn not avaiable, the rest available.

I've seen something that suggests this, yes. 

Let's put it this way. I heard two names connected to LAA. One in Iowa, one in SB. Kepley is out of the lineup in SB despite an off day tomorrow. Iowa hasn't dropped a lineup, but if that name is also out (and I had heard he was) than it's starting to come together at a level where I think we would all be okay.

It's hard to argue with what he's done at the plate since the fall league + being a good defensive catcher

I'm in the very unpopular crowd that doesn't want Soriano personally, but if you did pick both of them up, I don't think there's any assets left to get a reliever.
