When Alex Cohen asked Sut if he could repeat any stories about what he was told on mound during his playing days, I audibly said “don’t do it”. 😞

I will always say Sut comes across really well, seems like a good dude. But he’s not a dude that I can say I could listen to him read the phone book.

That Sutcliffe not Cohen,  Sutcliffe thinks every cubs player is a stud 😅

Cohen not going to be able to say much with Sutcliffe talking all night 🤣😅

baseball is stupid

Deepest part of the park- literally just missed that one. 3 runs would’ve been nice. Need something like that to get them right back in it

I reckon it has more to do with Marquee giving everyone on their roster a go rather the announcers themselves. Before Marquee, we had Ken and JD consistently for 162 (outside of illness of course), now with Marquee there are multiple people doing the same jobs. Boog, JD and T-Mac are the main ones, but then they will get replaced for days and sometimes a week at a time with Cohen/Sut/Demp/Floyd/Elyse/Lance etc. It gets annoying because as fans the main people will always sound the best.

Pat and Ron get a lot more games off than they used to also

They're hitting Flaherty hard. PCA squared his up, Suzuki squared up a ball that went just foul, Nico and Dansby both hit it hard.

That said, not a lot of faith in Taillon or whoever else doing 5 runs better the rest of the game.

Despite missing 6 weeks, Taillon has moved into a tie for 4th with Shota for most HRs allowed this season with 22.
