I just watched the Brewers game, just because of Miz.  He was crazy good.   His average 4 seam velo was almost 102mph.

The only thing that will stop him is an injury. If he is throwing that hard it is inevitable, isn’t it?

I agree.  Before the last inning, I was thinking I wouldn't let him pitch the 9th, if I was the manager.  He came back, and finished the game with about 95 pitches, so I guess that's OK.  But, it's hard to imagine he keeps doing this without getting hurt.

That kid might just be generational.  If I recall, Randy Johnson avoided major elbow and arm injuries.

DeGrom did not, though. I doubt Miz will escape without an eventual injury.

Random thought: Kevin McGonigle is currently my favourite Baseball name. Like a strong old old school Baseball name such as Urban Shocker.
