I was going to post that Cabrera has given up hard contact all game, but only 1 run is a positive. But I withheld my post because of jinxy reasons. I feel like the universe hates me.

Cabrera won't allow any more ER, and will pitch 6 innings.  That's normal for him.  Like I said, very consistent.

BTW, how come nobody complain about Cabrera, when he gives up a HR?  If I remember correctly, he gave up 5 HR's and Shota only 3.😄

Losing Cabrera start against the Reds would be bad for taking this series against the Reds, with Taillon and Rea going the next two. Would need to get one of those two and Imanaga to get a split.

We’ve won 15 of 18 games and are facing a team that came into the day with a negative run differential for the season at home. The series might or might not go our way but in no way are we doomed if we lose a Cabrera start.

That not what I said 😅😅

Didn't say anything about being doomed, just about winning this series

Why is Busch struggling to pull the ball so much?

I guess his timing is a little off with his slow bat speed.

going into the game his pull % was actually higher than last year. It's the GB rate that's way up

Oh, I didn't know that.  Thanks.

Fangraphs has his pull rate 9% lower and his GB% over 9% higher than 2025. It’s like he’s playing with an injury.

I went to b-r, I don't know why it would be different
