Stop gambling on this horsefeathers defense Ben.

Ben has not been good late in games. The gambler trusted that defense. Huge mistake. Luckily, it shouldn’t matter.

Offense blew it. We know the defense sucks. 16 points vs that ****** defense is inexcusable. They had their chance with the takeaway.

I was going to post the same, took them 3+ plus quarters to score against that garbage.

I think the chances of them converting this 4th are higher than the defense holding them. Go for it.

I was thinking the same thing.  Punting the ball there felt like nearly a sure thing for the Lions to run out the clock and score.

Game turned out to be meaningless, nevertheless, would have been nice to beat that beady-eyed meathead.

Offense had some momentum, I definitely would have gone for it, never a good idea to gamble on this defense.

BJ has a first half problem and when he solves it we can expect to win a playoff game.

These guys got one and done written all over them

Which is funny because the Packers also has one and done written all over them.

With that said, I'm choosing to believe the Bears will NOT be one and done.

Maybe, still, the Packers are nowhere near as effective on offense as the Lions.  That'll help.

That was the biggest letdown today, Lions are terrible on defense and the Bears couldn't do anything for a while.  Once they figured it out, they marched down the field, Ben can't take a half+ to make adjustments.  There's no reason they should come out flat next week.

Early on wasn’t it the Bears played well with scripted plays. Now, they can’t get anything going at all early on.

the play action was absolutely bottled up, I think the INT and grounding were both on PA and I don’t recall many chunk plays off of it either, running game has been pretty fringy the last few weeks as well

Jaylon Johnson was making a lot of business decisions out there as well

GB is no doubt the easiest of the 4 potential opponents entering the weekend but they are also the only team who isn’t a warm weather west coast team and the only team that will probably fill at least 30% of the stadium with their fans.

that said i still prefer this matchup. As for the rivalry component, how much worse can they “own” us after the last 30 years? Low risk, high reward
