Spelling, literacy not included.

This may be the reason they always seem to confuse "wife" and "sister".

I dont' really find Packers fans particularly annoying, I'd find any rivals fans annoying if they owned us for 40 years straight. I mostly want them to just feel what it feels to not have 35 straight years of HOF QB play, because that'll spoil a fan.

Their smugness and false sense of being this gold standard of winning while the Giants, Broncos, Chiefs, Patriots, Steelers, Cowboys, 49ers and Rams all have more superbowl championships and or conference championships wins since the 90’s is what drives me nuts.

Then you have Chicago born packers fans  Favre era front runners who coincidentally all root for the other 3 major sports teams in this city. They have as much of a claim to the packers as I have to the patriots.

I’m just sick of losing of to them.

I don't know, but if you look Here and Here ... comedy gold.

I think the Brian part is photoshopped. I feel like the original only misspelled morons. I say this as a person who has his name misspelled about as often as it is spelled correctly, and I definitely notice. I've received credit cards spelled Brain.

My name is misspelled so often that when I actually have to fill out a name tag, I usually just put Brain, and rarely does anyone ever even notice. And it's also typical that if I ever corrected someone on the spelling, they just start calling me Brain. I'm actually quite okay with that, since there are certainly worse things people can call me.

And now you know what the last "B" stands for in my screen name. My screen name has been a nickname for much longer than my time here.

Same here for me. Spell check doesn't autocorrect the spelling.  As for the meme above, Brain is photoshopped but the rest has been around the internet since the turn of the century

Luckily I’m a letter off. No spelling confusion or autocorrect errors as a Ryan.

Cardinals fans really are the worst. The worst fan base in the ENTIRE MLB.

Jokes aside, it's weird, since I'm a Packers fan and a Cubs fan, so there's a lot of tension. My mom is a Cubs/Packers fan (convert from Brewers), and my dad is a Cubs/Bears fan. So there's a lot of animosity with the Bears.

That is just not true.

I'm not Chicago-born, but I'm pretty connected to it. I'd argue that Chicago Packers fans have a unique outlook in general.

So you speak for all Chicago-born Packers fans?

I know some. They're interesting people! Full of contradictions as well. 🙂

My dad is a "Chicago Exile"--his parents moved to Wisconsin, so he lived in Wisconsin but he is as Illinois-born as anyone. Besides that, I go to Chicago once in a while, and those people in Packers shirts and who also somehow like the Cubs are interesting.

People who root for different city teams often indicates different upbringings, moving, etc. And those people, to me, are the interesting people because I like talking about other places. They fascinate me. I want to be a traveler and help everyone I come across.

Not related, but have any of you been to the Art Institute? I went there a month ago, and they have some pretty interesting stuff.

Yeah at this point I would just like it to be a rivalry again and not simply being owned every year by the Pack.  Last game was a competitive game.  A good first step.

My uncle became a Packer fan literally because of Bart Starr and the Lombardi-era Pack.  Some people just chose that team over the Bears.  A different era…

I grew up 2 miles for the Illinois/Wisconsin border in a very small town. So small, we co-oped with a Wisconsin school to play football (long story, back in the '80s Illinois wouldnt allow co-op'ing small schools with in state on fear of areas ganging up, so we co-op'd out of state). I'm a FIB. I wear it proudly. 1/2 od my childhood friends are from Wisconsin. I get Packer fans well. However, you cant be from Northern Illinois and not be a Bears fan. Its just weird.

Was the coop with Wilmot?

Hmm... that's an interesting take. Borders can be very 50/50; I live close to it so there are some Cubs/Bears, some Cubs/Packers, and some Brewers/Packers.

So are you a Packer fan, or a Bear fan? That is the question.

not Wilmot, not the point. It was fun growing up that way, still is. I love the rivalry, especially with old friends. I'm really looking forward to the future with Johnson/ Williams. horsefeathers the packers. that's the point.

I experience the rivalry too. The Packers are awesome, though!

I have close ties with Wilmot personally, which is really half-and-half. I'm not there, though--not going to disclose where I actually am. But the rivalry is fun.

My dad raised me on Bears and we took some pretty big digs at him during the Ditka era.  Then he got his revenge on us once Favre came around.

I never understood him because I was raised a Bear fan.  There was no choice.  But I do think some people back then chose sides, even in Chicago.  It’s still weird to me though.

That sounds awesome! Nothin' better than Packers revenge.
