On the Marquee pre game show Cliff Floyd said a Cubs coach told him if they got 12 outs from Boyd they’d be in great shape and if they got 15 they’d be in really great shape. He’s close to the 12.

Is the wind blowing in hard tonight? That last ball hit by Happ seemed to have been stopped by the wind. Although it looked like Happ might have been a little under it

With Boyd pitching so well do continue to pitch him if he gets through 7-9 next inning (aka a 3rd time through the order), or not mess with it and go to the pen?

I think it’s a crosswind to RF

Everybody who wanted to start Civale over Boyd, fess up

Will happily say that I was completely against starting Boyd in game 1 and completely for him starting tonight.

Also I would avoid Shota like the plague in Game 5 if we get there.

Matt Boyd is on...

Let him go another

Hell definitely go another with the bottom of the order due up. Just don’t know if he’ll pitch into the 6th with the top of the order due up for the 3rd time (if he retires the Brewers in order in the 5th)

Save the pen for Saturday. Pen will come into play big time in Saturday. The less looks they get of the pen guys the better off they are imo.

Yeah. I'd go with Boyd until Yelich. But he doesn't see Chourio or Contreras a third time unless the Cubs can stretch this a run or two

Tonight might be the first time I’ve felt bad for Philly fans. All they needed was a force out throw to home

Brutal throw, though watching the replay, I don't know that he gets him out even with a good throw.
