People are still going to say Jayden outplayed Caleb despite the 3 turnovers and Caleb getting robbed of a TD.

Did Caleb inexplicably cause a fumble and throw a terrible INT?  Also, who won?  One-sided officiating and Daniels still horsefeathered it up, directly responsible for the loss.

An ugly game and the Bears D remains historically awful but the pluses are: The Run Game is Real, Caleb is still a work in progress but Real, Ben Johnson is the anti-Eberflus

BJ will absolutely be furious that we didn’t score 40 with that run game, mainly at himself because we didn’t really hit anything big down field or in the red zone

Darnell Wright is a monster

Wright was my LEAST FAVORITE 1st rd pick until roughly 3 mins after his pic and I read his bio for the first time. It read, roughly, MONSTER

Bears offense looks a lot better if they don't have the most flag-happy refs in the league.

They were really terrible all game long. Lots of ways the Bears hurt themselves (the 4th and 1 pass was a nightmare, and Caleb is still missing open guys too much), but there's a lot that wasn't their fault and when they got the ball back I knew they would at least get in field goal range. (Which is a rare feeling to have for a Bears game)

We might have to put Wright solidly in the “hit” column for Poles.  Dude had some mega blocks today.

I'm counting the TD pass to Rome. It was a TD pass until the poor officiating made up a reason to take it away.

Last year, this team would have and did fold. This year, they fought to the end to get the win, despite the referees efforts. Ben Johnson affect is real.

I'm not saying playoffs, but would asking for 8-9 wins be too much to ask for?

Their upcoming schedule is baaaadd depending on how decent the Ravens are and if Lamar is back. They could go in a bit of a run before they hit the brick wall of NFC North games (though given how the last few weeks have gone, no one is unbeatable)
