Apparently anyone who is QB for Shanahan is at least a decent QB. I'm convinced if he had Fields, Fields would be a top 10 QB the rest of the way.

I’m convinced fields would look closer to Trey Lance than Mac jones in that offense.

RE: NY Giants 1-4

Unless there is a massive change of direction you have to think both GM and HC are gone at the end of the year.

Meanwhile D. Jones and the Colts are 4-1 and Jones is on pace to have his best year ever.

It would be really nice if Dart turned out to be something as it would further highlight the stupidity of the # 6 pick.

Did Jeanty bully you in high school or something?

100 career starts versus 2 is probably a pretty good reason.

I know that, was more snarky, sarcasm on my part and I truly believe McCarthy will be, at best, an average QB.  Him getting offensive player of the week after that Monday night was total BS.

I’ll never understand why Bear fans wanted to keep Fields.

I'm rooting for the guy, I also understand he may never be a successful starting NFL QB.  There's a mental barrier he'll never overcome, I don't know if there's an offensive plan in which he could excel.

LOL, no. It's not about the specific player. It's about taking any RB in R1, especially high in the first.

The Ravens have allowed an average of 35+ points per game through 5, and they've already played the Browns once.

If Jeanty was a Bear he'd have far superior numbers.  Teams know the Raiders are incapable of hurting them through the air, makes stopping Jeanty and the running game a hell of lot easier.  Except, of course, when the Raiders faced the Bears.

It’s too late.  He was either overrated as a prospect or ruined by a remarkably terrible coaching staff in Chicago.  I believe it was the latter.

Yes, taking any RB and putting them on a better team, specifically behind a better O-Line, will make them look better.

For example look at what Dowdle did in Dallas last year. 2020 UDFA who gets a chance in his fourth year.

1079 yards - 4.6 avg. Dallas let's him walk and this year they have ( through 5 games ) ...

Williams 447 yards - 5.7 avg.

Sanders 117 yards - 5.8 avg.

Are we supposed to believe the Cowgirls just hit on back to back to back hidden Gems? Or, hear me out, maybe their O-Line is really bleeping good.

I've never seen a team force a running back by committee like Seattle. It doesn't matter who has the hot hand, they're going to alternate series. Walker averaging over 8 ypc and they keep swapping him out.

I admit, I did not see Daboll’s train wreck coming.  He was the hottest HC candidate that year and I thought it was well-deserved.

Cardinals trying to have one of the greatest choke jobs ever, starting with a fumble at the half yard line by flipping the ball b4 actually crossing the goal line.

There was 12:51 remaining in the 4th quarter  when DeMercado rushed for 71 yards and then flipped the ball at the half yard line and the ball was fumbled out of the back of the end zone. That TD would have made it 28 to 6. They then proceeded to lose the game 22-21. Hahahahaha!

Coaching staff certainly didn't help, I also believe it's not their fault he can't process quickly enough or correctly see the field.

I'm sure you can see the differences in Dallas and Carolina's offenses without me pointing out the obvious. Who is the other hidden gem you are referring to here?

I am usually a steadfast traditionalist when it comes to uniforms, but the Buffalo alternates tonight look absolutely fantastic on the field.

Huh? this has nothing to do with Carolina. I was pointing out that Dowdle ( last year ) and both Williams and Sanders ( this year ) have looked good/really good because of the Dallas O-Line. In addition, Sanders also looked good in 2022 behind the Eagles O-Line. Click the links if your not familiar with the players. They are basically replacement level players who have looked good when behind good or better O-line. Also I wasn't saying they were Gems, I was pointing out the exact opposite.
