Swanson has a history of this crap. If you want to ignore it that’s okay. He is part of the problem

Repeating the same thing over and over again doesn't make it true. Swanson has a .977 fld% in the playoffs for his career and a .980 fld% in the regular season.

He's part of the problem, yet I only see you blaming him. He's been a phenomenal defender in his Cubs career and its up to the pitchers to overcome errors. Theyre part of the game. He didn't allow 5 runs to score.

he was the first big free agent on the rebuild and he sure isn’t Jon Lester from 2016.  He’s been a disappointment when it’s counted! Yes or No?

The great bullpen implosion of 2025 continues

Nico and Happ carrying this offense all month isn't great in the 'the playoffs are next week' sense, but it is cool to see the two longest tenured members of the team playing this well going into their first real playoff series in a long time/ever.

I call BS on Horton injury..lol

They wait til the 6th inning when they fall behind to announce it.

It wouldn't surprise me if Hoyer/Counsell made it up to save themselves from pulling him after 3 with a 5 run lead cause they thought the game was in hand and Soroka would be able to get them through the 6th and the bats would add on.

Just saying 🤷‍♂️

So he started using a heating pad and strecthing after the 1st inning because he knew the Cubs would have a comfortable lead the next inning and he could come out early.

Seiya is alive! He actually had an important hit. Am I dreaming?

No, you're not.

Ok, cool that they posted that in the 6th inning when they finally announced he was removed for back tightness, they could of just saved everyone from wondering by posting that after he was removed.

Nobody outside of the cubs dugout knew for 3 innings why he was removed, or knew he was stretching and using a heating pad.

I’m sure it takes advanced cognitive capabilities to celebrate someone’s death.  Totally not a degenerate thing to do

Don’t waste your time or breath on imbecile nonsense- some of these guys just don’t have a conscience. No point arguing with them. Thank you for calling out some of their hypocrisy

I’ll make it easy for you posters. What is the most memorable highlight of Swanson since he’s been a Cub? I know mine . The errors down the stretch over the years. I’m serious! Tell me he’s memorable moments to justify his salary.

You don't have a conscience if you honestly believe Kirk wasn't a piece of horsefeathers.

So they went back in time in the 6th inning to take a video of Cade using a heating pad in the 1st inning.

Lmao...🤦‍♂️

That video was shown and mentioned by Taylor in the 6th inning with her saying this is what she saw in the dugout back in the first.

They chose not to bring this up until the 6th, im not saying  my humorous guess was right, just that they could of mentioned this sooner over making everyone wonder.

If we ever see an entire year where PCA doesn’t throw his batting helmet on the ground, that will be a year where he’s just hit .1000
