I know that’s on brand for PCA but the league has adjusted to him and if he doesn’t adjust back it’s not going to be pretty.

Nice clutch hitting as always by our top of the order bats.

Consecutive K’s against a guy who doesn’t miss bats tells you all you need to know.

There’s something wrong with the Cubs minor league development. They let bad habits develop like PCA’s plate discipline and Shaw’s huge leg kick. Those should be addressed before they are exposed in the big leagues. With that said, Pete had an OPS of .984 in August so his sky isn’t falling.

@Jason Ross Give me some of that optimism, brother! We’re drowning in here and need a life saver!

Littell is a good pitcher for the Cubs. He's going to throw a lot of strikes and the Cubs will be able to key in on pitches. He gives up some home runs. His only real skills are getting hitters to chase and not walking guys.

They might not smash him for 10 today, but he's a good matchup for a team who needs some life.

I appreciate you, my man!

We all need some positivity.

Also I will delete that post when the Cubs pick up 2 hits and score 0 runs.

Man I don’t think I’ve ever seen a run like the Brewers are on. They aren’t just winning nightly, they’re usually up multiple runs within the first couple innings and don’t give it back.  The dodgers had a hotter stretch in 2018 but still this is wild
