Cubs will be averaging under 5 runs/game by no later than July. Unless the score keepers give us the benefit of the doubt for facing Paul Skenes and Tarik Skubal and round up to 5. It’s a valid excuse.

And they know they can and get away with it, most times without protest from the player. Complain and it can be an instant ejection which is why you don’t see players complaining for the most part.

lol seriously. currently on pace to score 865, which would have been second in baseball last year. but yes, terrible offense.
