I’d definitely sniff around but it’s hard to get what you are getting out of Shaw defensively right now so I’m willing to be patient with the bat

If the Cubs end up losing, it'll be hard not to blame Cabrera and hopefully he gets DFA'd.  If they put in anybody else in that 5th inning or even kept Jamo in, this game would be different

I understand bringing Cabrera in initially. However,  after he had walked Contreras on 4 pitches, given up a double to Turang and fine 3-0 on Hoskins before Rhys got himself out , I think going to a rhp to face the righty would have been a pretty reasonable move.

He got a strike on a checked swing that didn't seem like a strike but they didn't show the replay. Critical to the AB.
