I was surprised there was no comment from the booth after that caught stealing. He ate dirt, came up with a cut on his nose, and that's what they were tending on the bench.

And his face slammed the dirt pretty good.

The only way to throw out PCA when he is on the move is the pitch out, which for some reason doesn’t seem to be a thing in baseball anymore.

Or pray you get him on the hand to foot exchange.

Don't worry the Phillies will have it figured out by the time the Cubs go to Philly.

Just like the last series with those horsefeatherss, struggling coming in, then, right the ship for and against the Cubs.  They were ass against the Cardinals as well.

While bad for his looks, that's good for the Cubs, no hamstring-oblique BS.

Tucker will be fine. He just ate it pretty good on that slide but I can’t imagine he misses time from it.

Considering he took he took at bats after the slide and doubled, we all hope so.

That's the injury of the year - oblique - isn't it?  If so, fuuuuuuuuuuuuck!  I'd been okay with bloody, swollen nose if I had choice.  Probably has that in addition to the oblique.

The walks to not so good hitters like Espinal are the killers.  Score some more runs.

Thats not serious right, would assume hes back in there on tuesday

As long as nothing is broken, not serious at all. Possibly still sore tomorrow but should be good to go for Washington.

That was a good battle though. Sometimes you’re gonna lose those. Hat tip to Espinal and let’s get the runs back.

Gah, I had to leave after the 2 out walk and thought well he’s cruising and there’s 2 outs no worries. Hopefully we can tack on some more

It does happen, he's really bad, running a -0.3 WAR (-0.4 O, 0.1 D) so far this season, best he's ever put up was three years ago a 2.4.  Don't know why he's hitting second for the Reds.
