Didn't he grow up in Los Angeles and his dad is from Naperville? That doesn't necessarily disqualify him from having redneck vibes but it certainly is not a point in your favor.

Correct. His Mom grew up in Alabama, which, I guess, but PCA spent the formative years of his life with his parents both starring on Heroes, which I can't imagine would be a very redneck-y lifestyle.

Boog is annoying to me

I love him. His chemistry with JD is fun.

That said, I miss the days of Len and JD

I resolved not to complain about Turner for a couple days after last night's clutch hit, so I'll just say it's a shame that someone else couldn't have hit that ball so they could beat the play to first

horsefeathers Seiya, enough taking called strike 3's with RISP.  You are hitting 3rd for a reason.  Protect the plate with 2 strikes

Yea, for someone who gets alot of bad calls against him, you'd think he'd be a little more protective up there with 2 strikes.

And it was clearly a strike, so I don't know what he was complaining to the ump about

He took the same pitch for ball 1

Second time through order is Ben Brown demon, he definitely needs a 3rd pitch to at least keep them guessing a little, otherwise they're just sitting on a pitch.

The review system has really made these umpires lazy. The ump clearly saw that was out. Call it out and if the Giants want to review (they won’t), they can do that.

Can't expect him to miss that twice

No definitely not, but if that was his reason to bark, i can see it.

Like I said, for a guy who gets alot of bad calls against him, he should be in protect mode a bit more with 2 strikes

Regardless of the outcome of this series I'm convinced the Giants are nothing more than a .500 to slightly above .500 team that has gotten off to a good start.  At some point they'll regress.

I'm getting closer to being done with Turner than I am with Pressley. Turner also has a more pressing, immediate fix for the position on Jonathon Long. Not sure I'd DFA Turner tomorrow but we're moving into a territory where 60 PA's in he's not shown a sign of much life at all.

I appreciate what he's been but he's looking fairly toasted at this stage. Kind of like Yan Gomes did last year.

turner looks extremely cooked. they really need to do something about the non-amaya part of this bench. woof.

Yeah...but that's like our 4th most pressing issue after starting pitching, back of the pen and 3B

I wonder if they have a date or AB amount for a possible return for Shaw, assuming he looks to have adjusted to whatever they worked on.  Have to figure he'll get another opportunity to stick.
