Busch struggles against lefties (as does Turner), but starting Turner with his bad glove is indefensible. He brings nothing at this age.

You can tell how good or bad the cubs are doing based on who is the whipping boy for the fans. When it’s just your typical .500 team, it’s the shortstop who gets 4+ wins a year. When they’re playing really well, it’s the backup first baseman with a 120 wRC in each of his last four seasons. Real first world problems going on right now.

I know Alex Cohen gets a bad wrap for a lack of chemistry with JD. But then you consider that he is 37 years old and JD is 64 years old and they will struggle with having a flowing conversation about old school baseball, and maybe even current day baseball as their experiences in baseball are different. I think Cohen is doing a fine job.
