Yeah it's just shuffling the deck chairs.  We've seen Palencia for 2 seasons.  He's fine, occasionally gets the job done, occasionally extremely wild.  The problem is the Cubs don't have enough good players in their bullpen or in the minors, especially with guys like Assad down.

You can say that about so many project pitchers Jed has thrust into middle and late inning roles the last 3 years. How hard is it to find guys who can throw strikes? When the pen blows up walks are usually involved
