The fact that Matt Nagy has received interest from multiple teams fills my cold, dark heart with utter glee.

Seeing him paired up with Aaron Rodgers would just be, *chef's kiss*

I would laugh so hard if any team hires McCarthy or Nagy. Impressive morons, those guys.

I think Nagy has a chance to learn from his mistakes. His two big problems were he came to a team with a QB he knew was dumb and he overreacted to the double doink with the absolutely ridiculous kicker competition that took time and focus away from actually improving the team. I think he could have learned some things. Whether he did or not is questionable.

in general I like the concept of coordinators in their second HC opportunity.

McCarthy is fine. He’d be the best offensive coach in bears history and probably capable of making this team respectable and at times dangerous. He’s most likely not getting them over any big humps though. He’d be a better John Fox.

If I was a team looking at Nagy I'd feel a lot better if he hadn't run immediately back to Reid.  May he have learned from some things in Chicago? Yes.  But I think he'd learn a lot more working with other coaches and proving QB development outside Mahomes.

Jaguars requests go in for Glenn and Johnson.

Breers wording is interesting though... 🤔

Yeah I thought the same.

Maybe its wishful thinking but I don't think Jacksonville is serious competition for the Bears and Johnson.

Lawrence is no longer on a rookie contract

Their owner sucks worse than the McCaskey's

Its Jacksonville( a shithole city in a shithole state)

Nagy was coach of the year and helped take the Bears to the playoffs twice. You can only do so much with Trubisky. I thought he was a good leader too and should get another shot one day.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: the vaunted "Andy Reid coaching tree" has a lot of withered and bare branches on it

Reid and his coaching tree pretty much have a stranglehold on the AFC in the recent and foreseeable future, along with multiple different super bowl winners(possibly more if it weren't for Reid himself). What type of success rate are you expecting from a coaching tree

Yeah, but other than head coaches of 3 teams there's nobody else currently in the playoffs.

Four if we’re including Reid himself (McDermott, John Harbaugh, Bowles).
