Bears week 12 vs Vikings Sunday at noon on FOX

Like others I'm hoping for Caleb to look decisive and put up decent #'s with no turnovers.  Beyond that, I'm expecting the Bears to lose, possibly big.  I'll go 24 - 10.

Don't really care about the score as well, another loss is probably better anyhow, just want to see Caleb perform well.

For it's worth Thomas Brown complemented the Vikings defense, he also said we're not going to play in fear or coach in fear.  Basically saying horsefeathers the Vikings and their blitzes, were going to be aggressive,  at least it's the right attitude.

I was on vacation in Mexico for the past week. I was happier not knowing how the Bears lost. 

But what that game did was tell me to close the book on the 2024 season. Football is just not fun to follow right now.

So congrats to the Bears for joining the Bulls in becoming irrelevant to me.

They can have right now honestly, there's no reason not to cut him and give playing time to Scott and Colin Johnson.

There is one reason, if the QB likes him. That would be a spiteful cut, not a football one. I’d rather not antagonize the qb.

Was looking at NFL Tankathon, I don't expect the Bears to win again, they're current at 14.  Have not checked the schedules, believe the Saints, Bengals, Dolphins and Bucs will all manage to win at least 5 games.  So that moves the Bears up to 10, of the 9 teams ahead of them, just don't see any of them managing 5 wins.

Maybe so, Caleb' development is the priority and winning is not, he'll be history in 7 games anyway.

I strongly doubt season finishes with 10 teams with 4 or less wins. Would have to be unprecedented.

Does anyone have a link that I can use to watch/listen to the game today as I’m driving back to Texas? Had to come home for a funeral and need to be on the road at 9am. Any help is appreciated.

Fans do this every year lol.  I'm a tank tracking expert at this point.

 

Even down to this simple fact:

Those ten teams are bound to play each other.  There's guaranteed to be several built in wins!  And then teams just win games because it's the NFL and things are weird.

 

That said the Bears SOS puts them at a huge disadvantage. So they do need help passing teams, and they're bound to eek out some dumb wins too.

Finish of the bottom 5 win team (so best SOS) going back several years

You get the point... A 4 or 5 win Bears will pick very high.  6 or 7 wins though is where things tend to bunch up and a late season win could catapult them from like pick 5/6 to 12/13 because of their SOS.  Poles needs to be as bold as Roseman/Eagles were in 2020 if they're in thar spot week 17/18.
