Based on this, Merryweather is trending towards about 2-2.5 weeks between starting his rehab stint in Arizona and being back in MLB.  Assuming Alzolay is on a similar schedule he'd be back right around the deadline.

Obliques are an explosiveness injury.  The reason they're more of a thing now is because today's players are lightyears more athletic than the guys 60 years ago.

According to Joe, Morel is the kind of hitter that can hit 5 or 6 home runs in a 10 day period. He’s hit 18 home runs in 96 games that he’s played. 😂

From April 29th to May 6th he hit 5 home runs. Is Girardi wrong?
