That moundball thing is weird. Every day a season ticket holder has the chance to win $1000 in some product. The whole thing sound elitist.  😂

Way to say thank you, at most they put out 81 grand..

Turner wanted to be a Phillie and the Phillies obliged.

I get it, compete for 4 out of every 14 years. LOL

Basically how it's been if you go back to 1984.

84, 89, 93, 98, 01, 03, 04, 07, 08, 09, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23

So in the last 40 seasons, they have been over 500 16 times to compete or somewhat be competitive.

I guess 12 times in the last 24 should have us fas ecstatic compared to how it was pre 2000. 😅

Wind blowing straight out to left at 15 mph and these knuckleheads can only muster up 1 run and 2 hits thru 5 innings.

🙄🙄🙄🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Just thinking here cause I was looking at the box score, i wonder if theyre hoping to get some interest for Bote by playing favorable matchups with him and limiting his PT while he is up to keep him healthy.

Not that they'll get much of anything in return for him, but he could be an add on piece or just to give him an opportunity to play everyday or more to try and get a little value and interest for his pending free agency this offseason.

I never mentioned a freaking thing about trading happ/Hoerner. Stop it.

I was responding to the statement "we're early in on jeds rebuild"

Give it a rest dude

Settle the horsefeathers down bittner. You responded to someone suggesting it might not make sense to deal Happ and Hoerner as if to say they cubs are 4 years into a rebuild in a way that sounded like you were suggesting the FO show some imagination and maybe make some bigger trades. On top of that, I hardly responded negatively to you in a way that would warrant your response back. Maybe you need to take your own advise and give it a rest.

I wonder what goes down in the clubhouse after every 2 hit 1 run game this team seems to have. They need Brad Pit to throw a few chairs around like in Moneyball.

Baseball is supposed to be fun FFS.

Yet another Chicago team has failed to do the bare minimum of letting their fans feel some small amount of joy.  The Bulls gave me 0 enjoyment, the Hawks gave me 0 enjoyment once the initial excitement of getting Bedard wore off and we realized they were terrible, the entire Bears season was a referendum on Fields and Eberflus after it became clear 3 weeks into the season that they weren’t gonna be good. Now the Cubs battle the Rockies and Marlins (both of whom have more recent NLDS appearances than the Cubs, having both beaten the Cubs to get there) for worst team in the NL.  And not that we care but the white Sox are the worst team in baseball. Yikes

We'll be happier once mlb adopts NHL playoff format

I hope Lopez did call the Mets the worst organisation in baseball… because that sounds like the type of dude that deserves to be playing for the Cubs.

I am confused, is Cody Bellinger’s dad the dude with the glasses or the dude sitting next to the dude with the glasses? I feel this is important information.

Fake 9th inning rally time

Question is, will the tying/winning run be on base or at the plate 😅
