I think the best guess for the next three games is

Opener + Spencer Bivens

Opener + Spencer Howard

Opener + Mason Black

Between injuries and trying to line Webb up for the Dodgers series the Giants rotation is a huge mess.

I used to listen to these West Coast games as I was going to sleep with my earbuds. Then I'd fall asleep around the 3rd. In the 5th inning, I'd invariably be woken up by Zack screaming in my ear about a double play or warning track fly ball.

I don't do that any longer.

The advantage to being a cubs fan in Az is I have no problems watching any of the games. Wait….. is that really an advantage???? 🤷

I'm watching Game 7 of the Stanley Cup tonight. Cubs be damned

Game 3 of the College World Series too. Sneaky great night. Will flip on the Cubs game once those wrap up and see if it's worth screwing up my sleep (it's not, but hasn't stopped me before).

And yet the Cubs will lose the series, most likely.

I'm heading to the Bay Area tomorrow morning and will be in the building for the game tomorrow night, so hopefully they can manage to minimize the suckage this week.

Cubs play Baltimore, Phillies, Brewers in July.  Going to be a miracle if they make a pre- deadline push like last year.

Thing is the pen started rolling in early June last year.  Leiter just went down.  Even if the offense improves they still need to close games.

If there was ever a series for the taking, it’s this one.

Could be fun watching PCA patrol CF in the giants park, whatever corporate name it is now.

Anyone go to Wrigley yesterday for the ryno statue unveiling?

Glad for him.

Yes and no.  My kids were more interested in getting the bobbleheads, so we stood in line at the Right Field gate while watching the ceremony on my phone.  There were a ton of people in Gallagher Way (obviously), so we avoided that area.

I'm happy for Sandberg though and it's always great to see him around the ballpark.

Great to hear about a dad taking his kids to the Cub  games. Love it!

I don't care how good the Cubs farm system supposedly is, if they end up in last place or 4th with a $230 million payroll, people need to lose their jobs in the front office
